IDES offers a specialized educational and social dance program developed by choreographers and pedagogues Cristina Puchades and Alicia Herrero. Dansa Educocreativa® is grounded in an interdisciplinary, holistic and rigorous training framework, based on a creative, inclusive and intergenerational methodology. At IDES, we coordinate training and research in dance and movement expression in collaboration with educational, academic and social institutions.

Our educational and social dance training programs have been delivered in the music schools of several musical unions in the province of València. The main headquarters of Estudi Alicia Herrero is currently located in Xàtiva.
Our program has been delivered in early childhood, primary, secondary, high school, vocational training and special education settings.
Teacher education is a priority for our Institute. We have delivered Dansa Educocreativa® and social dance training within higher artistic education, at university level, and through continuing professional development programs for early childhood, primary, secondary, baccalaureate, vocational training and adult educators.
IDES develops training initiatives for vulnerable and marginalized groups, in collaboration with institutions, festivals and specialized centers.
