We are

Institut de Dansa Educocreativa® i Social (IDES) is an interdisciplinary team that combines dance education and practice with research dissemination and scholarly outreach. Through artistic production and creative research, we promote social inclusion and personal and community well-being.

With more than 30 years of professional experience, we want to transform society and people through dance as an educational, artistic and therapeutic tool, to be a benchmark in pedagogical innovation and social inclusion through movement and art.

Our team

IDES is led by educators and choreographers Alicia Herrero and Cristina Puchades along with a multidisciplinary team formed by specialists in psychology, somatic therapy, education, gender equality and social inclusion. All of them work with the vision of offering meaningful embodied learning experiences through movement.
